Your instructor
Hi, I’m Justin.
I'm a landscape photographer with a soft spot for wide-angle lenses and the ocean. Photography started as a casual hobby on a trip out west and became the thing I plan my life around.
I live by the Rhode Island coast and shoot it constantly, from Beavertail at sunrise to Castle Hill at sunset. Every lesson is one-on-one, because that's how people actually learn: I show you, you try it, and I help you adjust on the spot.

Common questions
I'm a complete beginner. Which lesson should I pick?
Any of them. Every lesson is tailored to where you are. If you've just unboxed your first camera and want to learn it from home, the online Crash Course is the gentlest start. If you'd rather learn outdoors, Coastal Clicks or Your Town work just as well for beginners.
What if the weather is bad?
We'll reschedule. You can move the lesson free of charge with 48 hours' notice, and I'll keep an eye on the forecast with you.
Can someone come along with me?
Of course. The lesson is built for one person, but you're welcome to bring a spouse, friend or child along.
What happens after the lesson?
Every in-person lesson and online course includes a free follow-up video call where we edit the photos you made in Lightroom or Photoshop. If you want to keep going after that, Custom Sessions pick up right where the follow-up leaves off.
